Backlog, pile of shame, new releases, it really doesn’t matter; we all have a million games we could be playing. We live in a time where quality titles are a dime a dozen, and they aren’t beholden to a single genre. You want a great puzzle game? Boom, Blue Prince. You want a great horror game? Boom, Resident Evil Requiem. You want a great game about balls? Boom, Ball X Pit. Not sure if I found the right niche on that last one, but you get my meaning. So I’m done saying that there are down periods or quiet periods; they don’t exist. Great games are everywhere, all the time, always. That said, it’s nice when they arrive at your door for the price of an existing subscription, I guess.
As announced on the PlayStation Blog, the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue for Extra and Deluxe members will be updated on March 17, adding nine new titles to these tiers.
PlayStation Plus Extra/Deluxe
- Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2
- EA Sports Madden NFL 26
- Persona 5 Royal
- Persona 5 Royal – Ultimate Edition
- Blasphemous 2
- Metal Eden
- Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria
- Astroneer
PlayStation Plus Deluxe
- Tekken Dark Resurrection
Mr Ash Wayling, our in-house Warhammer nerd, would tell you to go play Space Marine 2 (and probably Metal Eden as well), which you should do, but he’s not here to tell you that. Instead, I’m telling you to make some time for Blasphemous 2. Whether you’ve played the bloody and challenging original or not isn’t important; what is important is that you experience the awesome visuals, awesome design, and grotesque executions.
What do you think of this update to the catalogue? What games would you like to see added next? Let us know in the comments or on our social media.
