March’s PlayStation Plus Games Have Been Revealed

Lots on offer this month

Damn February, you haven’t disappointed. What will likely be one of the biggest months for game releases in 2022 is wrapping up, but that doesn’t mean that you’ll be left without games to play. Sure, we’ll all more than likely be throwing hours upon hours into Elden Ring (which we gave a 10), but in between getting demolished by huge bosses, I reckon we’ll need something else to play. In steps the good old PlayStation Plus line-up. In February we got the divisive bundle of UFC 4Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure and Planet Coaster: Console Edition, which was a very random group of titles.

As announced on the PlayStation Blog, we now know that the PS Plus games for March will be Ghostrunner (PS5), Ark: Survival Evolved, Team Sonic Racing and Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. These titles will be available for download from March 1, so clear some space on your console now.

It’s also worth noting that GTA Online will also be free for the first three months for all PS5 players from March 15.

Set in a dystopian cyberpunk future, Ghostrunner combines fast and frenetic parkour platforming with brutal and unforgiving combat. Wielding a katana and a number of cybernetic enhancements, you’re tasked with running through deadly gauntlets and dispatching enemies without finding yourself at the pointy end of a bullet. Difficult, rewarding and gorgeous in equal measure (we gave it a 9), Ghostrunner is likely to surprise you if you haven’t dabbled in its world yet. Keep in mind, this is the PS5 version only and isn’t available for PS4 players.

Unfortunately, you’ll have to wait for the sequel to get your Vin Deisel fix, but the original Ark: Survival Evolved still has plenty within it to keep you busy. Dropping you into a world inhabited by dinosaurs and other creatures with only your fists and a loincloth, you and your friends will need to craft and explore in order to survive. Sure, there are plenty of MMO survival games out there these days, but Ark has a certain charm to it that manages to keep it feeling fresh and fun. And yeah, you can ride dinosaurs, enough said.

Despite running at insane speeds, Sonic and friends still like to jump into a cart and have a race. Team Sonic Racing introduces an element of teamwork into the tried and true cart racer formula, with multiple different character types further deepening the strategy. Don’t stress though, TSR is still user friendly and easy to jump into, so it’ll be worth downloading for those with or without kids.

Acting as a standalone version of Ghost of Tsushima’s excellent co-op experience, Legends allows you and up to three other players to take on supernatural threats in a number of different modes. Whether you choose to progress the story or take on hoards of Oni in the survival mode, Tsushima’s brilliant combat and the new supernatural twist will keep you coming back. If you haven’t played Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, this is the perfect time to jump in.

If you haven’t played or downloaded UFC 4, Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure and Planet Coaster: Console Edition yet, you have until February 28 to do so. Never forget, you can add the monthly games to your library if you don’t currently have space to download them.

Which game are you most excited to download? What would you like to see added in April? Let us know in the comments or on our social media.
