Sony have today announced the free games that will be available via PS Plus in March.
PS4 players will receive Tropico 5, along with Table Top Racing: World Tour. The two titles have been detailed in the official PlayStation blog. The details are as follows:
First up is the island dictator sim Tropico 5, featuring the long-running virtual dictator, El Presidente! Tropico 5 is a full-fledged city-building game based on the fictional island nation of Tropico. Inside this not-so-subtle parody, El Presidente guides and directs the everyday life of his beloved Tropicans using a firm grip and ridiculous edicts, all presented with a heavy dose of tongue-in-cheek humor.
And Table Top Racing: World Tour on PS4 is a high-octane combat racer from Nick Burcombe, the co-creator of PlayStation all-time classic Wipeout. Table Top Racing: World Tour is a total reinvention of the Table Top Racing universe, bringing micro combat-racing to a truly next-gen audience for the first time.
PS3 users will also have access to Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 and Loco Roco Cocreccho.
Bionic Commando Rearmed 2: Nathan Spencer returns as the daring elite soldier equipped with special bionic abilities. Spencer will have to face his greatest challenge yet as General Sabio, a new technologically sophisticated foe, is on the brink of launching a deadly missile attack.
LocoRoco Cocoreccho! is a game exclusively for PS3. Play as a butterfly and guide the cute little LocoRoco to safety. The LocoRocos respond to the environment, interact with each other, and sing along to the music. Running at 1080p, LocoRoco Cocoreccho! brings all new gameplay, use of the SIXAXIS™ wireless controller technology, mini-games, and online rankings.
Lastly, PS Vita users will receive God of War: Ghost of Sparta and Switch Galaxy Ultra (also available for PS4 users).
God of War: Ghost of Sparta is a third person action-adventure video game developed by Ready at Dawn and Santa Monica Studio, and published by Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE). The game is the sixth instalment in the God of War series and the fourth chronologically. Loosely based on Greek mythology, Ghost of Sparta is set in ancient Greece with vengeance as its central motif. The player controls the protagonist Kratos, the God of War. Kratos is still haunted by the visions of his mortal past and decides to explore his origins. In Atlantis, he finds his mother Callisto, who claims that his brother Deimos is still alive. Kratos then journeys to the Domain of Death to rescue his brother. After initial resentment from Deimos, the brothers team up to battle the God of Death, Thanatos.
Switch Galaxy Ultra is an insanely addictive, fast-paced, reflex-based arcade challenge with two modes of play, gorgeous visuals and high quality audio. Weave your way across the galaxy in story mode, avoiding enemies and obstacles. Along the way collect credits and look out for pickups on the track that allow you to obtain the best times! For higher-stakes, choose survival mode and see how long you can last with one-life and an infinite track.
