Developer Beethoven & Dinosaur has revealed their next game, Mixtape, coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2025.

Revealed as part of this morning’s Xbox Games Showcase, Mixtape is an adventure title comprised of several vignettes that take three friends through core memories of their teenage years. Off the back of their incredible debut title, The Artful Escape, developer Beethoven & Dinosaur is once again taking players through dreamlike setpieces, set to a soundtrack that captures the feelings and thoughts of the cast of characters. Featuring music from artists such as DEVO, Roxy Music, Lush, The Smashing Pumpkins, Iggy Pop, Siouxsie and the Banshees, and Joy Division, Mixtape, as its name implies, is centred around a playlist that will take the teen trio through their last night of high school, and on a reflective journey.

Beethoven & Dinosaur’s debut game, The Artful Escape, is a fantastic, thought-provoking and creative platformer (which we gave a 9), so we at WellPlayed will keenly follow the development of Mixtape with eagerness.

Mixtape is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2025.
