Mortal Kombat 11 Is Basically Getting A Huge Expansion (Plus Robocop)

The fantastically stupid story of Mortal Kombat 11 is going to continue, thanks to the reveal of Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath on YouTube this morning.

Everyone’s favourite shape shifting sorcerer, Shang Tsung, has rolled up during the end credits on Mortal Kombat 11 and basically told our heroes that their plan wont work without him. What comes next? Who knows – but I am pleased to see it includes the already released DLC characters of Nightwolf and Sindel, with the bonus surprise of showcasing some new classic additions to the roster – Fujin and the four-armed Sheeva!

Take a look at the full reveal:

No, you didn’t imagine that. That silver clad law enforcer was none other than Robocop!

In a world of robotic ninjas, a robotic cop isn’t too far of a stretch. Wonder if his fatality includes shooting off someones penis?

Existing Mortal Kombat 11 players will also have access to a plethora of free content including new Stages, Stage Fatalities, and best of all: Friendships! Let this image sink into your brain forever:

It’s electrifying to know that the game that commanded so much of my attention is going to be sinking it’s claws in even deeper. Right when I thought I was out? They draaaagged me back in.

The epic saga continues with a content release date of May 26th.
