Not kontent with letting Cyrax take the spotlight, Ed Boon has now dropped a micro-teaser for the robot ninja of the red variety – Sektor.
Most known for flamethrowers and firing missiles, the biggest reveal in this teaser is the revelation that Sektor is actually the daughter of the chain-smoking martial arts master Madam Bo – best known for getting her shit canned by Smoke in the Mortal Kombat 1 intro sequence.
But hey, it is neat that she is also the Mum of a red cyber-ninja.

Besides the sweet little lore tidbit, the real meat of the teaser is showing off how absurd Sektor can be when in full swing – with a massive amount of screen pressure due to movement and wild missile flurries.
For the observant you can also see the classic Sonya Blade Kameo fighter pulling off her classic kick move, likely suggesting that she will be getting some new toys soon.
As for Sektor’s release, you’ll just need to wait for when Khaos Reigns launches on September 25.
