The expansion kontent for Mortal Kombat 1 is fast approaching, with a final launch trailer now being shared to show players more of Khaos Reigns narrative details, setting the stakes as Time Keeper Liu Kang reacts to the trickster Havik also having such a position.

However the neatest little part of the trailer comes at the end, with a Fatality showcase from upcoming guest fight and horror icon, “Ghostface” from the Scream series of films.
Many people speculated that the masked murderer might pull off a double act – it is a bit of a staple in the films – and sure enough, NetherRealm does not disappoint:

Joining other guests such as Conan (the Barbarian) and the T1000 (from Terminator 2: Judgment Day), it’s great to see that Ghosty is still getting a star treatment to stand out. But who is behind the mask? I am guessing it is series regular Kano, annoyed that he isn’t main roster this time around.
Khaos Reigns launches on September 25.
