The Mortal Kombat 1 reveals just keeping pumping, and today we can see that Kronika’s time-irrelevant henchman has managed to squeak his way into Liu Kang’s new era.
Geras, the sand manipulating goon of Mortal Kombat 11 has switched sides – serving as a friend and advisor to the lord of time Liu Kang.

Geras gameplay shows some familiar concepts from his MK11 outing – manipulating constructs from sand, and using some wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey nonsense to freeze and rewind his opponents and himself. In fact, one of this crazier moves appears to be a brutal instance of him opening a time portal to reveal another version of himself beating up another version of you – which then results in the two of you getting slammed together. So yeah, ol’ mate is more than capable of beating you up… with yourself.
It’s another stellar showcase of just what is waiting for us when Mortal Kombat 1 drops this September.
