Moving Out 2 Gets August Release Date

Get ready to pack it up again

Team17, SMG Studio and DevM Games have announced that its upcoming co-op game Moving Out 2 will land on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC on August 15.

Moving Out 2 expands on the 2020 release, adding online and crossplay so that players can play together regardless of where and what platform they play on, as well as a new cast of F.A.R.Ts and all new locations that will see movers travel the multiverse.

A PC demo will be available next week as part of Steam’s Next Fest, featuring six levels for players to try out before Moving Out 2 launches in a couple of months.

You can pre-order physical versions of Moving Out 2 from EB Games and JB Hi-Fi – $59 for PlayStation and Xbox versions, while the Switch version will set you back $64–$69.

We gave Moving Out a 7.5 in our review, with Kieron Verbrugge writing that “Slapstick charm and some genuinely welcome quality-of-life features mean there’s a lot to love in this chaotic co-op removalist sim, but like any renter will tell you, moving can get old pretty quick.”
