Naughty Dog’s Next Big Title Is Already Underway

It was the project the devs are “most excited for”

With the incredible The Last Of Us tv show wrapped up, people are of course steeling their gaze towards what might come next from the storytellers at Naughty Dog – and company co-president Neil Druckmann has some rather candid news on that front.

During an appearance on the Kinda Funny Spoilercast discussing the TV show, a mention was made towards how the game studio is currently tackling two distinct fronts – completing the Last Of Us Multiplayer title, as well as another big project that the crew was “the most interested” in working on.

In a clarifying statement, Druckmann carefully made mention that the fan demand for The Last Of Us Part 3 is heard, however the concept of the new title is “already chosen” – which seems rather cryptic. Many may interpret that as the project is not TLOU3, but it could also be read that it may well be another Last Of Us title; just chosen independently of fan demand. A very diplomatic answer that will have many speculating.

As a long term Naughty Dog fan, I am personally hoping for a bleeding edge reboot of the Jak & Daxter series – but realistically I know that whatever they deliver will likely be another brilliant experience.

Are you excited for the another Naughty Dog title? Have you been checking out HBO’s The Last Of Us? Let us know in the comments or on social media.

Shoutout to the Kinda Funny Spoilercast.
