New Read Dead Redemption 2 Feature Details Weapon Customisation and Dead Eye System

Spicy hot new deets!

Friends, readers, people who accidentally got this page thinking we were IGN we are just eleven days from one of the most momentous video game releases of the decade. Yep, it’s time again to talk about Nickelodeon Kart Racers.

I mean…Red Dead Redemption 2.

In keeping with their regular updates on the RDR2 official website, Rockstar have just gifted eager fans with another hefty feature full of juicy new info. This time, it’s all about the plethora of weaponry in the game, the ways in which your experience with said weaponry will be tailored to you, and what’s new in the all-important Dead Eye system.

Rather than bore you with my fancy words, I’ll just get straight to the pretty pictures and clips:

Weapons range from pistols to revolvers and sawed-off shotguns, and all feature weapon degradation even from the elements themselves. Equipping holsters will help prevent this. Players will be able to customise the look of their guns from the colours to the engravings of each individual part, and also craft special ammo types. They can all be stored in the horse’s saddle, but you’ll need to choose what to take with you when leaving your horse behind!

The Dead Eye system is back, and this time it’ll grow with players as they gain experience in the game. From humble beginnings as an aim assist to letting players unleash hell on enemy weakpoints in slow motion. As before, Dead Eye will gradually drain with use but can be replenished with provisions and tonics.

As always, stick with us here at WellPlayed for the latest on Red Dead Redemption 2!
