Preorders for GTA6 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S go live on June 25, 2026 – remembering of course that the game isn’t coming to PC for a hot minute, so console-enjoyers are primed to thumb their noses at their PC-platformed mates for a while.
As for the cover art, it is the traditional (and very cool) collage-style spotlight on what to expect in the game – with hand-drawn guys, gals, gators and guns. There is a brilliant consistency in how the Rockstar folks have branded their crime-based murder simulator series over the years, greatly appealing to my designer past. Sometimes thing just aren’t broke, y’know?
You can also download the official cover artwork from the GTA6 website, in a variety of formats should you wish to gaze longingly at it as your desktop while agonisingly waiting for the PC release.
Are you ready for the home stretch of GTA6? Got your preorder cash set aside? What do you think of the cover art? Let us know all about it in the comments or on our social media.
