On February 27, otherwise known as Pokémon Day, the Pokémon Company historically treats us to a little bit of news as well as in-game events. This year the Pokémon Company has announced that a new mythical Pokémon will be revealed. This Pokémon will be available in Pokémon Sword and Shield and will also feature in the next Pokémon movie. No other details have been announced so be prepared for anything. A special Max Raid Battle will also run in Sword and Shield but the focus on the raid is unknown at the point.
Keep your eyes peeled for the announcement on February 27 and while you wait you can play Pokémon Sword and Shield exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
