Microsoft have announced that Quantum Break was the number one selling game Xbox game both around the world and in Australia during the week of launch, and is now officially the biggest-selling new Microsoft Studios published IP this generation. In addition, during the first week of launch, Quantum Break was the number one most played new game on Xbox, worldwide.
Congratulations to all at Remedy Entertainment, Microsoft Studios and Xbox.
This is excellent news as we need more standout new IPs. Hopefully this encourages more developers and publishers to create rather than rehash the same ideas.
