Developer Far From Home has announced a partnership with PlayStation to bring Forever Skies to PS5 as a console exclusive alongside its PC release later in 2024.
Currently in PC early access, Forever Skies is a sci-fi survival title that sees players customise and pilot their own airship through a dilapidated and irradiated post-apocalypse earth. Having seen numerous updates, adding more and more content to the game throughout its early access period, the game is set to feature co-op for up to four players, as they explore, craft and survive.
Forever Skies Gameplay Lead Andrzej Blumenfeld commented on the partnership, saying, “Far From Home has teamed up with PlayStation to focus on making Forever Skies the best it can be for its console debut. So, at the end of PC Early Access when we’re ready to release the full game, we’ll be launching it on PlayStation 5 for consoles. Worry not though, this will not affect the ongoing development or release of the Steam version which will come out at the same time.”
This news comes alongside a new trailer that shows off the early moments of the game, as well as the systems that will be available upon its full launch.

Forever Skies is currently available via Steam Early Access and will launch on PS5 and PC later in 2024.
