As if getting Star War Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast on modern consoles wasn’t excellent enough, we were gifted further with Jedi Academy getting the same treatment last month (March). Both games have seen tweaks to performance and controls, but at the end of the day, they truly are the brilliant Star Wars titles from the past.
Announced during Nintendo’s latest Direct Mini, another banger from the Star Wars game vault was revealed to be coming to modern console, Star Wars Episode I: Racer. This absolute pearl of a racing game is fast and challenging, similar to the likes of WipEout but with a hefty dose of a galaxy far far away.
Luckily we won’t have to wait long to jump into a podracer, as the game launches on PS4 and Switch May 12, 2020.
With revamped controls, split-screen and online multiplayer as well as trophy support you can be sure that I’ll be zooming through Boonta Eve on May 12, will you? Did you enjoy Racer back in 1999? Let us know.
