Developer Fuse Games and publisher Secret Mode have revealed that Star Wars: Galactic Racer will launch across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 6.
Revealed during The Game Awards last December, Galactic Racer is a high-speed racing title set in a Galaxy Far, Far Away, and developed by folks who worked on both the Need for Speed and Burnout franchises. Players will man Skim Speeders, Speederbikes, Landspeeders, and the iconic Podracers in fast and violent competitions of speed and skill, where rough and tumble tactics are required. The game will feature tracks across planets such as Ando Prime, Tatooine, Lantaana, Sentinel I, and Jakku, and will feature a full story-driven, single-player campaign.
The latest trailer accompanying the release date features a quick glimpse of the game’s deluxe edition livery package, which adorns the Darc X landspeeder, Ciza T speeder bike, and Rac S skim speeder with a paint job inspired by the N1 Naboo starfighter. While the standard edition will run you $84.95, the digital deluxe edition will set you back $114.95 and will net you the above liveries, as well as three arcade events, three new vehicles, a player banner, and a digital art book.

If you’re extra keen on Galactic Racer, the game will also be receiving a collector’s edition with additional goodies. Exclusive to JB Hi-Fi, the collector’s edition will set you back $269, and it includes everything in the deluxe edition, as well as a physical landspeed model, pilot patches, a Kestar banner, a physical art book, a custom slip cover, and a steelbook.
