Streets Of Rage 4 Just Got A Major Update That Brings New Co-Op Moves, A New Survival Mode And More To The GOAT Beat ‘Em Up

The gift that keeps on giving

If you needed any further proof as to why Streets of Rage 4 is the GOAT beat ’em up, well the game’s publisher and co-developer Dotemu has announced that a major and free update is coming to Streets of Rage 4.

The update will provide new co-op moves, a new survival mode for the Mr. X Nightmare DLC, as well as a ton of improvements and tweaks to the game. You can check out the full list of updates here.

Better still, if you haven’t played Streets of Rage 4 yet (I mean, what are you doing with your life if you haven’t?), the game is currently on sale on PS4, Switch and PC.

I gave Streets of Rage 4 a big juicy 10 in my review, writing that “From start to finish, Streets of Rage 4 is a modern celebration of one of the best beat ’em up series of all time.”

With the game releasing in April 2020, it’s excellent to see the developers still supporting and fine-tuning the title.

Have you played Streets of Rage 4? Either way, will you be checking out the new update? Let us know in the comments or on social media.
