Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Has Reportedly Been Delayed Into 2023

Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has reportedly been delayed and will now release sometime in 2023.

According to a Bloomberg report by Jason Schrieir, those familiar with the game’s development have stated that the co-op action game set in the Arkhamverse won’t see a release until next year. It’s important to note that neither Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment nor Rocksteady Studios have confirmed this delay, but it doesn’t seem unlikely that this would be the case.

Schreier also points out that Jason Kilar, Warner Media Chief Executive Officer, recently mentioned on Twitter that there are a number of highly-anticipated releases coming from Warner in 2022, with Suicide Squad being absent from that list. Again, this isn’t confirmation, but it certainly doesn’t look good for those keen to play the game this year.

Announced all the way back in 2020, Suicide Squad is set to be the newest title from Rocksteady, set in the Arkhamverse. Featuring four-player co-op, you’ll play as Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang or King Shark as they look to, well, kill the Justice League. The most recent look we got at the game was a story trailer that dropped in October, giving us a look at The Flash, Green Lantern and more.
