The All-New PlayStation Plus Launch Lineup Has Been Revealed

PlayStation has announced the titles that will be a part of the All-New PlayStation Plus subscription service.

Announced via a PlayStation Blog post, the list consists of PS5, PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1 and PSP titles, though the PS3 games won’t be available in Australia on launch. The current list is impressive, with Demon’s Souls, Death Stranding Director’s Cut, Returnal, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Mortal Kombat 11 all included, but it’s safe to assume that this is only a portion of the full lineup, as the original announcement mentioned that over 700 games would be available. Additionally, PlayStation Plus Extra and Deluxe members will receive a monthly refresh that will add new games to the service.

Some of the classic titles that are available as part of the Deluxe tier will include a number of improvements, such as raised frame rates and higher resolution. Select titles will also have updated user interfaces and the option to save at any time and even rewind gameplay. Importantly, these updates won’t be locked to the PlayStation Plus subscription, so those who own the games digitally will also receive the updates.

Lastly, there will be time-limited game trials available for the Deluxe tier that will allow members to play two hours of selected games before purchasing. The timer will only count down while you’re playing the game and any progress will carry over if you decide to buy the game.
