The Atomic Heart Official Release Window Trailer Is Here And I Have So Many Questions

The robots are rising

I remember a time where people were concerned that Atomic Heart might not come out. Now as we see more and more incredible media doing the rounds we can rest easy knowing that the baby of development team Mundfish is well looked after. Get ready to step into the retro-future of an alternative 1950’s USSR, and crush some robots.

Showing a bizarre array of enemies, set pieces and absolutely THUMPING music courtesy of the legendary Mick Gordon, the trailer unveils an experience that begs to be explored. The release window? Sometime in ‘*******ber’ this year. So, Q4 I guess?

Check out the new trailer below:

One this that is incredibly obvious is that the lip synch of voice lines are clearly not in English – meaning this natively Russian born game is respecting it’s roots and being adapted for a western audience, rather than built for it. This does prompt me to maybe play the game in Russian with subtitles – if only to experience what the developers truly intended.

Are you ready to quell a robotic uprising? Let us know in the comments or on social media.

Atomic Heart is due for release in 2022 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and Series S.
