The unannounced Splinter Cell game that’s said to be in early development will reportedly feature an open world.
According to video game journalist Tom Henderson, the highly requested next installment in the stealth franchise will be “A more stealthy version of Assassin’s Creed” and will be “Similar to how Halo Infinite has done its Open World”.
Ubisoft's Splinter Cell game that is in early development is currently scoped as a… You guessed it… Open World of sorts.

Seeing as though the game hasn’t even been announced yet, this should be taken with a grain of stealthy salt, but it’s an interesting idea nonetheless.
Splinter Cell fans have endured a great deal of heartbreak, with the last entry in the series, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, releasing all the way back in 2013.
Since then we’ve seen Mr Fisher appear in seemingly every other Ubisoft franchise other than his own.
