The final DLC update for Sonic Frontiers released today, and with it came a nutty trailer to showcase the new trials and playable characters on hand.
Awesome gameplay sections for Amy Rose, Tails and Knuckles show off a desperate scramble to gather the Chaos Emeralds – before Sonic has to face the ultimate foe.

It looks like Tails, Knuckles, and Amy will all control significantly differently from Sonic, with each having a unique way to deal with air traversal. This opens a whole new dimension to the trials and puzzles across the Starfall Islands; which may be facing its final, greatest threat.
The Final Horizon is the third and final piece of DLC that will be coming out for Sonic Frontiers. Much like the prior DLC releases, this one is also completely free across all of the game’s platforms.
With content being wrapped up for Frontiers, this could free up Sonic Team to consider the next truly giant Sonic release. Sonic Superstars is right around the corner – but could we consider a Sonic Frontiers sequel?
