Sonic Prime is one of those rare Netflix creations that actually meets the brief. Taking familiar characters and telling a freshly spun up story, with plenty of original concepts and ideas – and somehow not undermining the stuff that made these characters fun in the first place. It’s a good time.
So, it is with great pleasure that we get to see a trailer for the second season of the show – and it looks like a banger:
With things heating up, it’s a great time to check in with Shadow the Hedgehog and maybe get some of his signature angsty assistance. Even the deep sigh that is present when he admits that both he and Sonic will need to work together is a thing of beauty.
Sonic Prime returns mid July, so if you have not yet caught up on the show – you have plenty of time to get it smashed out, perhaps with a younger member of the family.
