Deploying in phases, players will get to experience the full breadth of new shadow-soaked content that awaits us all in 2026.
Phase 1 is obviously the first outing that is available today, which includes:

- New Activities
- Journeys
- Apex talents.
- Profession Updates and New Recipes
- Slayer’s Rise World PvP

That’s an enormous amount of stuff to get stuck in to, with following weeks shuffling you on to even bigger stuff – including limited raid testing, an updated transmog system (!!!) and the ability to try out Mythic+ dungeons.
Blizzard has actually shared a codex of details for further Midnight information, via their Midnight Expansion Information Wrapped Up page, because this is an immense bit of testing going on.
Sign-ups for the Midnight beta test are open – so if you are interested, make sure to mosey on over and throw your name in. Additionally, players who purchase or who upgrade to the Epic Edition of Midnight during the course of the beta, will also gain immediate access.
Did you dip your feet into the fantastic alpha experience? Are you rearing to chase shadows in the beta instead? Tell us all about it in the comments or on social media.
