One of the first world premieres during Xbox’s E3 conference started out looking like a new Outlast title but turned out to be a new game in the Blair Witch universe developed by Bloober Team (Layers of Fear fame). Set in 1996, the game is billed as a story-driven first-person psychological horror experience that looks terrifyingly awesome and it’s coming out August 30, 2019, on Xbox One and Windows PC.

What starts as an ordinary investigation soon turns into an endless nightmare as you confront your fears and the Blair Witch, a mysterious force that haunts the woods…
