Buckle up Pilots, a brand new entry into the Titanfall universe is en route, and it is shaping up to be a free to play battle royale spinoff.
The game, while not officially revealed at this time of writing looks to be called Apex Legends, which does away with the iconic Titan mech suits and will focus more on an Overwatch style of gameplay fusing MOBA elements and a tone closer to the Call of Duty battle royale variant, Blackout.
The news comes from a leak by esports journalist Rod Breslau, who dropped the news earlier today via Twitter. Breslau also suggested we may be seeing Apex Legends launch as early as Monday for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
We can expect an official announcement and more details very soon, possibly during the Superbowl.
