Twisted Metal’s Latest Trailer Is Full Of Gags, Guns And Vehicular Combat

Finally, some actual car-nage

With the TV adaptation of Twisted Metal just over a couple weeks away from hitting screens (Stan if you’re in Australia) on July 27, Peacock has dropped a new trailer for the series, giving us our best look at it yet.

While it’s true we’ve had a few trailers for the TV adaptation of the car combat video game so far, they have either been extremely brief, or focused more on Sweet Tooth signing the Thong Song instead of the guns and cars.

This latest trailer runs just under two minutes long and primarily focuses on the show’s main character – John Doe (Anthony Mackie) and provides an insight into the story, characters and the world that viewers will experience. We get a look at several characters that Doe will meet on his mission to transport a package across the country, such as Raven (Neve Campbell), Quiet (Stephanie Beatriz) and Sweet Tooth (played by Samoa Joe, voiced by Will Arnett), as well as some of the action we’re in store for, including vehicular combat.

When Doe’s orange Subaru isn’t mixing it up with modded cop cars, trucks and utes with mounted machine guns, we also get an idea of the show’s humour, which comes across far less awkward than in previous showings.

Season One will consist of 10 episodes, with each episode running for 30 minutes, and all 10 episodes will be released on July 27.
