Madmind Studio has dropped a new trailer for its upcoming psychological horror game Paranoid, which has a release date of December 15.
Set in the late 80s within Madmind’s Agony universe, Paranoid sees you play as paranoid schizophrenic Patrick Coleman, who receives a call from someone claiming to be his sister who has been missing for more than 10 years.
The trailer is a 23-minute gameplay video that sees Patrick explore parts of the city as he attempts to purchase medication to alleviate his schizophrenia. It begins with some creepy atmospheric moments as Patrick explores his apartment complex, only for it to take a weird and sexual turn as he proceeds to fist his talking mailbox (presumably in his head) which climaxes and ejaculates.
We also get a look at the melee combat and the outside world, which looks quite good thanks to Unreal Engine 5.
Madmind has said that players can complete Paranoid by either staying inside Patrick’s apartment or by venturing out into the world. Both paths will have significant amounts of content.
