Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Will Be Re-Revealed In September; Offers Refunds To Those Who Pre-Ordered

It’s about bloodsucking time

Paradox Interactive has announced that it plans to show more of its revamped Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 in September, showing a handful of new screenshots, as well as offering refunds to those who have previously pre-ordered the game.

In a statement posted on Paradox’ website, the game’s developer and publisher wrote the following:

“It’s been quite a while between updates while we’ve had our heads down working on the game. We remain just as dedicated to delivering a great Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines game as we were when we announced, and are looking forward to showing you more in September this year.”

The company goes on to explain that as it will be updating the game’s editions and bonus content, the decision has been made to begin cancelling existing physical pre-orders and that refunds are available to anyone who has pre-ordered the digital versions of the game. To appease fans that have been waiting patiently, Paradox showed off a bunch of new screenshots to give an insight into the game’s new direction.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has had a troubled development cycle. In 2021, Paradox announced that it was ceasing its partnership with the game’s then developer Hardsuit Labs due to the project not meeting expectations. Hopefully, this time there is light and a release at the end of the tunnel.
