Welcome back to the Xürday Times! Xür has returned to the Tower for another weekend. I think we all know that Mr. Tentacleface won’t be able to top his amazing inventory from last week, but let’s see him try.

Firstly let’s start off with the miscellaneous items that Xür has stocked. We have the Auto Rifle, Pulse Rifle and Rocket Launcher Telemetries so you can level up those weapons faster. If you’re still working on levelling up that Gjallarhorn from last week then you should probably pick up a set of the Rocket Launcher Telemetries. Like always these are 1 Strange Coin for 5 Telemetries. Next we have the Plasma Drive and the “Emerald Coil” to upgrade those blue rare-quality sparrows. These will cost you 23 strange coins each. Finally we have 5 heavy ammo synthesis’ for 1 Strange Coin and 1 Mote of Light for 2 Strange Coins.

I am so mad that Xür is selling the Thunderlord! I earned that weapon through a Legendary Engram that I didn’t even realise I had! Am I doing this right? That was basically all the Gjallarhorn elitists last week. It wast quite entertaining. Anyways, I digress, Xür has brought us the Thunderlord (aka Chunderlord) for a measly price of 17 Strange Coins. The Thunderlord’s exotic perk allows the weapon to fire faster and more accurately the longer it is fired. This best works with the Field Scout perk that it also has, bringing the magazine size up from 38 to 60. This weapon also have a secret perk whereby precision kills will sometimes make a firefly-like explosion. If you haven’t got this weapon you should definitely pick it up!

For Titans, Xür has brought you the Eternal Warrior helmet for 13 Strange Coins. This helmet has the exotic perk “Resolute” which provides the Unstoppable perk (you are harder to kill while in Fist of Havoc) for a Striker Titan’s Fist of Havoc. Personally I don’t like this helm and I am sick of Xür selling it. He should sell the Helm of Saint-14 again.

For Hunter, Xür has brought you the Mask of the Third Man for 13 Strange Coins. This helmet is probably one of the best Bladedancer exotics out there. If my memory serves me correctly the Lucky Raspberry chest piece is the only other Bladedancer exotic. This helmet offers the exotic perk “Unstable Current” whereby once unlocked, Arc Blade attacks use less super energy meaning that you can essentially use your Arc Blades more in one super. If you don’t already have this helmet I would definitely recommend picking it up.

For Warlocks, Xür has brought the Starfire Protocol chest piece for 13 Strange Coins. This chest offers the “Starfire Protocol” exotic perk which allows the user to gain an additional Fusion Grenade. This chest piece is ok for PVE because it allows you to have burning damage on your Fusion Grenades, meaning you can have a staggeringly high amount of DPS. For PVP this chest piece is kind of redundant because most Sunsingers are generally running Gift of The Sun which allows two grenades of any kind. I wouldn’t highly prioritise this exotic unless you’re just looking to collect it.
