Microsoft has officially lifted the lid on Xbox Series S and Series X pricing, release dates and start dates for pre-orders, including local pricing.
Both consoles will launch on November 10, 2020 with pre-orders opening on September 22.
The Series S will cost $499 AUD / $549 NZD and features the following specs:
- 4 Teraflops of power
- 1440p gaming at up to 120fps
- 512GB custom NVME SSD
The Series X, meanwhile, will go for an eye-watering $749 AUD / $799 NZD and is as follows:
- 12 Teraflops of power
- True 4K gaming/8K ready, up to 120fps output
- 1TB Custom NVME SSD

Microsoft also broke the news that EA Play, the publisher’s game subscription service, will soon be rolled into Game Pass at no extra cost:
