A VR Mode For Resident Evil 4 Remake Has Been Announced; Coming To PSVR 2

Taking you behind the fringe

Capcom has announced that development for a VR mode for the upcoming Resident Evil 4 Remake has begun.

It was announced on the Japanese Resident Evil Twitter account that a VR mode is currently in development and will be available for PSVR 2 players as free DLC when it releases. While we don’t have a release date as of yet, we’re sure to get more details in the coming months.

Resident Evil 4 has already made its way to VR in the past, with the original being ported to the Oculus Quest 2 back in 2021.

Those wanting to jump into Resident Evil in VR can now play Resident Evil Village on PSVR 2, with the game receiving a free update as part of the new hardware’s slate of release games.
