Developer Remedy Entertainment has revealed that its upcoming third-person survival horror title Alan Wake 2 has been delayed and will now release on October 27.
Taking to X (Twitter) with a brief statement, Remedy announced that Alan Wake 2’s release has been pushed back by ten days to avoid clashing with other titles launching in October. The statement reads, “October is an amazing month for game launches and we hope this date shift gives more space for everyone to enjoy their favourite games.”

Who knows what Remedy is on about though, October only has a few noteworthy titles releasing, like Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Forza Motorsport, Lords of the Fallen, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Phew, I need to lie down.
Alan Wake 2 will now release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC On October 27.
