Amnesia: The Bunker Has Been Delayed Into June

One bullet, multiple delays

Frictional Games has announced that Amnesia: The Bunker has been delayed and will now release on June 6.

A statement posted to Twitter explains that the game’s development ran into an unexpected certification issue that needs an additional two weeks to rectify the problem and “ensure the best possible gameplay experience upon release.”

A short, two-minute video was also posted to Frictional Games’ account, where Executive Producer Fredrik Olsson goes into more detail about the setback. Within the video, Olsson explains that the team could only meet the previous May 23 release date if staff were to work over weekends and around the clock, but, as Olsson puts it, “that’s simply not something we do here at Frictional.”

The silver lining here is that those keen to get around the game will be able to download a free demo on May 22 via Steam.
