August’s State Of Play Event Will Not Feature Major PS5 Announcements

Don’t expect big things

PlayStation has tonight announced its next State of Play event will be taking place on Friday, August 7 at 6am AEST.

The event was announced in a tweet and revealed that the focus of the show will be on upcoming PS4 and PSVR games, as well as updates from third-party and indie games shown off during June’s showcase. No big PS5 announcements will be made. Does that mean we’ll see none? We’ll have to wait to find out.

The show will be broadcasted on PlayStation’s Twitch and YouTube channels.
