Avatar: Frontiers Of Pandora Announced; Releasing In 2022

Closing this morning’s Ubisoft Forward E3 event was the announcement of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Being developed by Massive Entertainment, Frontiers of Pandora is a first-person action-adventure title set in the world of Avatar on the titular alien planet. The game is set to release on PS5, Xbox Series X&S and PC in 2022.

You’ll play as a Na’vi exploring the Western Frontier, a never before seen region of Pandora, as you fight back against the encroaching forces of the RDA. There wasn’t a heap of information given, but the trailer suggested that you’ll be able to interact with and ride some of the local fauna of Pandora, similarly to what was depicted in James Cameron’s movie.
