In recent gaming news, Forza Horizon 5 may have some news for fans of the game – particularly pink news in fact!
Spotted by Twitter user Don Joewon Song, Barbie and Forza Horizon 5 could be about to team up in a crossover that no one saw coming, with Playground Games adding the pink Corvette EV showcased in trailers and a Barbie-themed Hummer EV Truck from the upcoming Barbie film to the highly-acclaimed racing game. Although there has been no official announcement, these cars can be found in the Horizon Promo menu, which displays all the available cars in the game, but sadly players cannot obtain them just yet. According to reports on Twitter, it is possible to encounter them as computer-controlled opponents in races by using blueprint events from the Event Lab.

How would you feel about a Barbie and Forza Horizon 5 collaboration? Imagine yourself, roof down, wind in your perfect blonde hair racing through the streets of Mexico. Call me crazy, but it does have some logic behind it, considering that developer Playground Games has previously worked with toy company Mattel on Hot Wheels projects.
As the Barbie movie is set to release in theatres on July 21, I’m predicting that the new cars will be officially added to the game in the coming weeks. I personally would love to see some Barbie-themed elements added to the Event Lab, racing poolside on a pink road? Yes please.
