Bugsnax Is Coming To Xbox And Switch This Month Alongside The Isle Of Bigsnax Update

I hope you’re hungry

Developer Young Horses has announced that Bugsnax will be releasing on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass and Switch on April 28, alongside the free Isle of Bigsnax update.

Originally launching on PS5, PS4 and PC back in November 2020 (we gave it an 8), Bugsnax is a unique first-person adventure title that has players exploring Snaktooth Island, helping the local Grumpus population and interacting with the titular Bugsnax (living food).

The Isle of Bigsnax update acts as a free expansion for the game, introducing a new location and a number of new features. As the name suggests, you’ll be exploring the Isle of Bigsnax, where all of the Bugsnax are twice their usual size, forcing you to shrink them down before catching them. The update also gives the player their own hut to personalise with over 180 decorations. Mail from local Grumpuses will be delivered to this humble home, inviting you to take part in new challenges and adventures.

More importantly than all of this, the Isle of Bigsnax update introduces Bug Hats that you can gift to wild Bugsnax to wear. Brilliant.
