Call Of Duty: Vanguard Multiplayer Beta Details Have Been Revealed

Get a taste of what’s to come

Sledgehammer Games has announced that two Call of Duty: Vanguard multiplayer betas will be taking place across all available platforms between September 11-14 and September 17-21.

The beta will be played across three new maps, Hotel Royal, Red Star, and Gavutu. Players will be able to take part in three classic game modes, Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Kill Confirmed, as well as a fourth, new mode during the first beta weekend called Patrol. Champion Hill, the new tournament-style mode, will also be available during this beta period.

The times are all a little confusing, so I’ll run through the ins and outs first. The first beta weekend will be available exclusively to PlayStation players that preorder the full game, easy enough to understand. The second beta weekend, however, is split. From September 17-19, those who preordered the game on Xbox or PC will get access alongside all PlayStation players. From September 19-21, all players will be able to join a final, open beta across all platforms.

Weekend One (PlayStation Early Access):

  • September 11 at 3am AEST – September 14 at 3am AEST

Weekend Two (Xbox and PC Early Access/PlayStation Open Beta):

  • Septmeber 17 at 3am AEST – September 18 at 3am AEST

Weekend Two (Open Beta for all platforms):

  • September 19 at 3am AEST – September 21 at 3am AEST

Phew, that’s a lot to take in. This news came alongside a new multiplayer trailer that shows off a lot of what you can look forward to, both in the upcoming betas and the full release. Give it a watch:

Call of Duty: Vanguard releases on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC on November 5.
