Hazelight, developer of the single-player-co-op game Brothers – A Tale of Two Sons and more recently the co-op only A Way Out is finally ready to drop their latest twist on a cooperative multiplayer adventure with It Takes Two.
On Twitter, game director Josef Fares revealed that the game has gone gold – essentially meaning it’s in a finished and releasable state – which is good news ahead of its planned March 26, 2021 release date.
We finally did it! #ItTakesTwo has gone gold👊

We recently named It Takes Two as one of the indie games to look forward to for 2021, and couldn’t be more excited to get our hands on the studio’s second EA Originals-backed title.
It Takes Two comes to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X and PC on March 26, 2021.
Kieron started gaming on the SEGA Master System, with Sonic the Hedgehog, Alex Kidd and Wonder Boy. The 20-odd years of his life since have not seen his love for platformers falter even slightly. A separate love affair, this time with JRPGs, developed soon after being introduced to Final Fantasy VIII (ie, the best in the series). Further romantic subplots soon blossomed with quirky Japanese games, the occasional flashy AAA action adventure, and an unhealthy number of indie gems. To say that Kieron lies at the center of a tangled, labyrinthine web of sexy video game love would be an understatement.
