CD Projekt Red has announced that a Cyberpunk 2077 stream will be taking place at 2am tomorrow (Feb. 16).
The announcement was made via social media, with the Polish studio writing “how ’bout a date?” in their post. However, Tom Warren from The Verge pointed out that the game is already listed as Optimised for Xbox Series X|S on his console, pointing to a surprise release post-stream.

We’ve known for a while that Cyberpunk 2077’s nu-gen update was coming in Q1, however given the buffet of new titles releasing during this period it seems a slightly bold choice to re-launch the game during this period. Making it a little easier is that the nu-gen update will be a free download for existing owners of the game, so checking it out will cost you nothing other than time and internet bandwidth.
