Devolver Digital Has Revealed An Exciting Batch Of Games Being Delayed Into 2025

And the winners are…

With the end of the year approaching, and video game award season upon us, the fine folks at Devolver Digital have taken the opportunity to simultaneously wipe their 2024 release slate clean and hand themselves a bunch of made-up accolades all in one shot, with the 15th Annual* Devolver Delayed Awards.

The presentation, premiered in the wee hours of this morning, showcases three (four?) Devolver-published titles being pushed back – again, or for the first time – into the fiscal year 2025.

Those games, and the awards they’ve been graciously presented with, are:

  • Best Inadvertent Tripping SimulatorBaby Steps
  • Best Late-Stage Capitalism Roguelite – Stick it to the Stickman
  • Best Glass Demon in a Leading RoleSkate Story
  • Best Colour Version of a Monochromatic ClassicVolvy’s Adventure DX?

“I guess if we had to thank someone, it would be Devolver Digital,” the Baby Steps team said in its impassioned acceptance speech, “For giving us the opportunity to delay this game for another year. Thank you.”

The show also featured an In Memorium segment for those games that did launch in 2024, and can no longer be delayed, including Pepper Grinder, Children of the Sun, The Plucky Squire, Neva, Anger Foot, The Crush House and more, all of which are now discounted in case you’re yet to pick them up.
