It has been barely an hour since Diablo IV early access went live, and those of us that are Blizzard game veterans waited with baited breath for what whacky funhouse hijinks might ensue.
For PC players, some slowness has been reported – but for players on the PlayStation family of consoles, it’s a little more dire.
Their product license is missing.

This is the message greeting many players using PlayStation hardware, and to say it is frustrating would be an understatement. It begs to ask where the fault may lie – is it on Blizzard’s end? Or something related to the Sony backend?
Blizzard has rapidly updated people to say they are looking in to it, so the issue is well under investigation:

It’s only a matter of time until the issue is resolved – while Blizzard launches are always rocky, the response time to hit stability has dramatically improved over the years.
So, now might be a great time to clean your keyboard? Make a cup of tea? It’s all going to be okay.
