Elden Ring Finally Gets A Gameplay Trailer And A Release Date

The wait is over

Yes, it exists and it looks fantastic. Closing off the Summer Games Fest Kick-Off event was the first gameplay trailer for Elden Ring, the long-awaited next title from FromSoftware, in collaboration with Game of Thrones Author George R.R. Martin. It was also confirmed that Elden Ring will be releasing on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X&S, Xbox One and PC on January 21, 2022.

This new trailer showed us a haunting world filled with nightmarish beings in every direction. Luckily, the player character looked as though they could hold their own, with a fighting style reminiscent of Sekiro, Bloodborne and Dark Souls alike. The player was traversing the world on a goat-like mount that had no issues with sheer cliff faces or combat, so it looks as though your furry friend will be invaluable.

Take a look at the trailer:

What do you think? Has the wait been worth it? Let us know.
