Elden Ring: The Board Game Has Launched On Kickstarter; Pledge Tiers, Pricing And Content Revealed

Pledge, Tarnished

Steamforged Games has launched the Kickstarter for Elden Ring: The Board Game, revealing all of the pledge levels, content and pricing information.

Announced back in September, the tabletop adaptation of Elden Ring has gone live on Kickstarter this morning, blasting past its goal in a matter of minutes, sitting on an eye-watering $2 million at the time of publishing.

Being a Steamforged game, Elden Ring is massive regardless of the pledge level you choose. The Kickstarter will be live for ten days and is currently scheduled to ship in May 2024.

Here are all of the pledge levels available for Edlen Ring: The Board Game:

Entry Pledge — $135

  • 20 miniatures
  • 500+ cards
  • 30+ modular hex tiles
  • 100+ tokens
  • 4 ring-bound scenario books
  • 1 rulebook
  • 4 Tarnished dashboards

Core Pledge — $273

  • 500+ tokens
  • 12 ring-bound scenario books
  • 5 rulebooks
  • 12 Tarnished dashboards
  • Exclusive Iron Fist Alexander
  • Exclusive daily unlocks

The higher pledge levels have a frankly insane amount of content, but obviously, you’ll need to splash the cash for them. Unlike Dark Souls: The Board Game, which was also published by Steamforged, Elden Ring: The Board Game features a hex-based map and diceless combat, adding a layer of open-world traversal and strategy to encounters.

Steamforged has published a gameplay overview that delves into the open-world/dungeon movement, battle stance system, deck-building combat and character customisation that will be found in the game. But if you’re more of a visual learner, you can always watch the quick guide video featuring the wonderful Jules Gill.
