Hell Let Loose Gets A Console Release Date And An Open Beta For PS5

Prepare for battle

Publisher Team17 and developer Black Matter have announced that their strategic squad-based WWII shooter Hell Let Loose will be releasing on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on October 5. On top of this, Hell Let Loose will also be receiving an exclusive PS5 open beta between September 16-20.

Releasing on PC back in July, Hell Let Loose has been very well received, garnering an 80 on Metacritic at the time of writing. With two distinct modes and 14 playable roles, this 50 vs 50 multiplayer experience rewards strategic plays and demands teamwork.

The open beta will take place on the Hurtgen Forest map in Warfare mode. Warefare mode begins with each team controlling half of the map and ends when one side reaches the other’s base. It’s a long and gruelling mode, so communicating and working effectively with your squad will make the difference.

The second mode that will be available at launch is Offensive, where one team acts as attackers and the others are defenders. The full game will also include nine varied maps that from across the Western Front.

Hell Let Loose is out now on PC via Steam and will release on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on October 5.
