Publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer Machine Games have announced that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will launch first on Xbox Series X|S and PC on December 9 and then on PS5 next year.
During this morning’s Gamescom Opening Night Live, it was revealed that the Indy title from Machine Games, the team behind the modern Wolfenstein series, will be hitting Xbox and PC in the festive month. Of course, you can play it via Game Pass (if you have the right tier), but what if you’re someone on the PlayStation side of the fence? Well, during this segment, it was also announced that The Great Circle isn’t an Xbox console exclusive; it’s a timed exclusive and will be coming to PS5 in Autumn 2025 (March-May).
Strangely enough, the PS5 reveal was positioned as the “We have one more thing” announcement, which was a bit strange, but I’m all for people being able to play games where they want to play them. The trailer we got alongside the announcement featured more gameplay, as well as some behind-the-scenes clips of Troy Baker doing voice work and mo-cap for the titular archeologist.
