LEGO 2K Drive Is An Open-World Racing Game That Lets You Build Your Own Insane Vehicles

2K and the LEGO Group have announced LEGO 2K Drive, an upcoming open-world racer coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch and PC on May 19.

The first release coming from a new partnership between the LEGO Group and 2K, LEGO 2K Drive is being developed by Visual Concepts, the team behind the WWE 2K and NBA 2K series, and will feature a single-player story as well as co-op and competitive multiplayer options that allow for two-player split-screen and six-player online play.

Players will create their own vehicles using over 1,000 unique LEGO pieces before taking their new ride across the various biomes of open-world Bricklandia. Races, minigames, challenges and collectables will be scattered throughout the world, with players able to interact with, collect and destroy to their heart’s content.

The Standard Edition of the game will set you back $89.95, while the Awesome Edition costs $149.95, which includes a new vehicle, vehicle flair, an in-game mini-fig and access to the Year 1 Drive Pass (season pass). Lastly, there’s the Awesome Rivals Edition, which comes with everything in the previous edition, plus extra vehicles and vehicles flairs for $179.90.
