Dontnod’s brilliant episodic title Life Is Strange has just hit the one million sales mark, quite a feat in the indie world.
Achieving a cult following in the gaming world (and sitting comfortably alongside the Dr Who and Supernatural fandom within the ever popular tumblr community), Life Is Strange has made its mark as a solid experiment in deep episodic story-telling that mixes influences of titles like Heavy Rain, The Walking Dead and films such as The Butterfly Effect and Donnie Darko.
The latest episode to unfold is DARKROOM, which depending on how your story has unfolded thus far is quite a pivotal point in our protagonist Max’s journey from small town girl to superhuman.
It’s been an emotional ride so far (certainly for me!) and I cannot wait to see just where the journey leads us next.
Ep. 4 DARKROOM launches digitally on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 & PC on July 28th
